-Has Kohler made any statements concerning the high failure rate of the cv25?
-after quickly scanning the www it appears the cv25 was a total failure and the public taken advantage of.
-were there any class action suits filed?

Well I have repaired many head gasket issues on the Command 25 HP, but that's it. What problems are you having?

The Command Twins range in power from 18-30 HP (not counting the new 34, 36, and 38 HP engines). The 26 and 28 HP engines are EFI. Some 22 HP and the 27 HP engines have spark advance. 18, 20 and 22 HP engines use the same block, 23 HP is different, the 25, 26, 27, and 28 HP engines use the same block, and the 30 HP has a larger stroke but same bore as the 25 HP engines.
