I have a 725 G2 Grasshopper with the 24.5 horsepower kubota engine. I bought it new and it has only 265 hours on it. Recently it has started spitting and sputtering when it gets under a load. It doesn't matter if its at full throttle or at 1/2 throttle it will do this. When I first bought it I had a similar problem and I contacted grasshopper and they said that if it got wet sometimes the spark plug holes will gather water causing the plugs to short and not fire. We recently had rain so I blew them out. No luck...still does it. Its had this problem for awhile when getting wet. The unit has 2 months left on the manufacturers warranty. When I call the dealer he asks if I tried putting plugs, wires, etc...on it. Should I spend my money throwing parts on something that is still under warranty? I don't think so. What do you think?
