zd....is there anyway to get it to cut in between the dial settings??

if i have it at 3 i think it's a little tall and 2.5 is a little short.

As you know, the dial adjusts the height in 1/2" increments. Since the deck height is controlled by hydraulics, the answer is no.

As for the lack of immediate responses to your question, bump this thread tomorrow around 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. c.s.t.

What I've done in the past, is set it to the lower setting, then just bump the hydraulic lift a hair.

It's not science, but usually once you've got the deck where you want it, it stays there until you raise or lower it.

The new ZDs have it in 1/4" increments.

.... I have attempted and have been somewhat successful in adjusting the deck leveling bolts to an in between size. Even considered putting a measuring rod on the deck to adjust with the hydraulics.

How do you all like the Kubota cut for all types of grass? I like the 2007 ZG23 alot, it is a nice riding machine. It is down to the Hustler Fastrak 54", Hustler Mini 52", or the Kubota ZG23.

The original post was talking about the ZD series - DIESEL.

Of the three choices you list, I would choose the Fastrak. :usflag:
