Kubota zero turn

    Any one mowing with a Kubota zero turn ? are they worth the $$$$

    I've had 3. They're awesome all around machines for sure. Have had to do little maintenance. The only complaint I can think of is that they can tend to be a little on the heavy side. So rutting/tearing can be an issue if you're not careful. This can easily be overcome with an expererienced operator, obviously.

    I have two at this time they are great are you looking at gas or diesel.

    The dealer here in town has a 2006 diesel with a 60" deck with only 103 hours on it. looks like new it was a home owner unit some old guy owned it and traded in on a smaller gas one. asking $7900 for it

    2006.......is that a 300 model or one of the older ones?

    I have been so busy with power raking/ spring clean ups so I have not been back to the dealer to see if it was A 300 series mower.. Are the older ones junk?

    No...The older ones were solid machines. I have two friends that have 500-700 hrs on them. One just replaced the deck drive belt. No other issues that I know of.

    In my career I have operated several Kubota's with 5000+ hours! They build industrial quality machines, a step up compared to commercial quality IMO.
