I'm really looking hard at the Kubota zg222 and zg227 mowers. My dealer doesn't have any 200 series mowers in stock...at all. Do all the 200 series mowers have only one 7.4gal fuel tank? From the pics i've found it seems to be only on one side of the mower. The deler is saying the zg227 is a 2010 model he can get from another dealer about 2 hrs away. He says the only difference in the 2010 vs 11,12 is the two fuel vent canisters that are installed on newer mowers because of EPA standards changing. Anyone have any type of info on these changes.

After tax, finance fee, and insurance i'm looking at 8950.00 for the zg222a-48 and 10,600 for the zg227aa60, these prices are a starting point since we haven't started haggling yet. What do you guys think?

I bought a new zg222 back in 09'. with financing it was $8,400. I got the pro deck as well. And yes my tank is only on one side and doesn't quite hold 7.4 gallons either, it's more like 6. But I can mow for 12 hours on one tank and that means running the machine all day. It's a great machine, i love it.
