Purchased a CAT D6N XL from KY just got it today.Shipped on a dropdeck flatbed,so had too find a dock to unload it.My local Deere dealer good enough too let me use there unloading dock.

It was a one owner machine of a Whayne Cat customer at Bowling Green. It is diff steer with semi U blade.Which most have six way on.For what i will be using it for i wanted the semi U blade instead. It was used in the brush so needs some new deals and paint on the rear corner.I hate trees and clearing!

The CTL wasn't heavy enough to winch Alberta the Hog(tiling machine) too with out sliding it backwards at times,so decided to get the dozer.Should work good and we always need another dozer at times for other things on the job when we are tiling.

Will be puting a laser auto machine system on it when we have more time.Getting ready too start back to work as soon at it drys up some more.Too major snows here already this month so up too a$$ in mud again.

Snow is disapearing at least!!!!!! for the second time all winter.

Going on fourth year in a row for wet spring.Got love it!:usflag:

Nice machine, Denny. Do you still have the other two 6's?

Stu i was trying to decide if i was going to update the CTL,but made the decision to get this.Need to have something bigger too winch too and i was tieing up one of the other dozers and not getting my terrace work done,so went this way.

They wanted half of what i gave for this to update. So for now I'm happy what i did.The dozer wasn't much more then the cost of a new CTL would cost. Not an auction price machine but below most market machines.

It was worth more to me being a one owner machine and just used to do farm work like i do.Service records came with it and was serviced on time. The customer hurt his back and couldn't run it anymore.Good sales pitch you know:laugh:.

Dozerman still have the other two.

There around but i would guess less then a hundred built.Almost bought one last fall at Richie sale down in your neck of the woods KC,but out of my price range at the time.

It went to South Africa! Seems like a lot of the machine are going out of the country too me.

I went out there to look at a 650 that went through. The 650's seat was toast so that killed it for me. Pretty bad when stuff from KC is getting exported. Wonder if much equipment gets floated down to the gulf for export?
