How many of you who depend on employees, could run your landscaping and maintenance crews relatively smoothly with out immigrant labor? Would any of you be in a labor shortage situation without immigrant labor?

I currently use no immigrant labor, but hope to get into the h2b visa program for next spring.

my problems from hiring locals are well documented. the self proclaimed christians are the worse. h2bs, an office manager from europe, and hopefully a crew from OK to help out this summer. none of the big lawn companies nationwide hire too many local residents from their community. thats why they are big.

This year will be my fourth season with h2b labor, as with anything sometimes it's ok and sometimes it's not. No labor shortage without them because you don't need labor when your business is shut down.
