I'm considering purchasing a new pressure washer. I saw a Landa yesterday and really liked it. Does anyone have any experience with this brand and what are your thoughts. Thanks.

Which model were you looking at? I work on these units, (as well as others) and thus so far, have been very durable.

I'm looking at the PG Models, a PG4-35324 or a PG5-35324E. I welcome your opinion.

Both are good choices. Its basically up to how much you want to spend and how many GPM's you need.

The pumps are backed by a seven year warranty and Both the HONDA and VANGUARD engines are great. I see you like the HONDA. You should be fine with either choice.

My first machine was a Landa and I liked it. Paid $9000 for it. But, now having used others, for the money, you can have 2 of these and I feel they are just as good as that Landa I had.

This is the unit I currently have and is the same specs as the Landa I had.

For the $$$, these are great machines and Bob at Pressure Tek will take good care of you.

    Michael,

Bob sells great equipment at reasonable prices and his reputation is second to none. I am hesitant to buy it from Bob only because of the cost of having it shipped to Canada and then trying to find someone local to service it afterwards.

Brian do you service your own units??? Landa makes some quality units but the cost is crazzy!!! Plus these Landa units are terrible to work on. They leave no room and the layout of the older ones was a nuckle breaker. A few years ago I bought a larger Hot water unit and wore it out in a matter of 1.5years. For the 10-12 k price tag look around and get a unit custom built. 2-3k for a high quality diesel 1-5 k for the parts and labour. For hot water 3-4GPM is perfect expecially with diesel at 1.42/litre. (YES $5.40/Gal)

    Good Luck

    Daff,

Nice to see a fellow Canadian on the board. I do not service my own units. This is why I am trying to buy one locally, but, the choices are limited in Barrie, I may have to travel to Toronto. I currently run a cold water unit, do you think that it would be advantageous for me to purchase a hot unit? If so do you know of a good supplier in the Toronto or Barrie area? Thanks.

Most shops will work on ANY machine you bring in. This is what is great about the pressure pro units... They all use off the shelf parts. Honda engine, general puump etc. Easy to find parts for and easy to replace yourself if need be.

Don't know about that Canada shipping thing though. Have yo called Bob about it? He may have a suggestion.
