Is this buy out of Landpride by John Deere a done deal yet. Why are all of these buy outs so hush. The dealers know little and magazines are printing hear say. Anyone have any information to if and when this thing is done! This is big news with the termoil with woods and the progress of some of the "new guys". If this buy out occurs, which I have heard it already has, then maybe landpride will start making some improvments in some of there equipment. I would say go with Befco or Bush Hog. At least they are still the same company people have depended on for years.

Rodney, Land Pride is not for sale and is not in negotiations with John Deere. Land Pride is a division of Great Plains Industries and John Deere definitely would like to gobble them up, but it ain't going to happen any time soon according to Lenny Wassinger of Land Pride. Hope this clears things up..........Lynn
