Hmmm.. What are some good books out there to read?

I'm looking at the Landscape Estimating Methods and I'm contemplating whether or not to buy it..

But I'd lke to look at estimating, waterponds, patios, walkways, retaining walls..

    Any suggestions guys?

    ;) ;) ;)

You really need to get Landscape Construction by Sauter - Best dang book on landscaping you'll ever read. I personally guarantee it. It covers just about every single topic you'd ever run into in regards to landscape construction. It also covers every kind of estimating, bidding, landscape math, the whole nine yards. It covers everything you mentioned and about 10x more. It's really THE quintessential book on landscaping.

The only thing it doesn't cover really is irrigation . That's a whole other ballgame.

Excellent. Soon you'll be recommending it to others.

Well.....not REAL soon. It's not a quick read. :D But it's the best and most informative, inclusive, book on landscaping I've ever seen.

Have you read the book on "LANDSCAPE ESTIMATING METHODS"?

What other books can you recommend? I have most of the books on ORTHO, lol..

    Lawns, stones, landscaping with stones..
