I have a few customers that have pathway lights in their landscape. The problem is that the lights are positioned so that they are right on the edge of the lawn. So, when I mow and trim the lights are a nuisance, particularly when trimming. I can't cut a clean edge where the lights are. A couple of times I have removed the lights on one property but at one place they have about thirty lights. Should I move the lights further back into the bedding, not trim around the lights. of beat the light with the trimmer? I'd like to know what you guys do.

If they are by the landscaping, move them into that a bit. If not, all you can do is what you can do.
