landscaping front of a sub station

    I have to dressup the fence in front of a powerstation.Any suggestions?No climbers please.The fence is about 350 ft long.They want color year round.

    Sounds like you've got a couple of choices. Hedge it using all one plant, which is boaring, or do clusters down the line of complementing plants. For constant color look to euonymos alatus or compactus, maybe put in some goldmounds and flames, a few azaleas for the the spring. Separate with some evergreens if you want. Sounds like an open pallet to me.
