Can anybody suggest any web sites for help on landscaping? I can take care of my lawn and I have done some hardscaping (patio and retaining wall) but I have no idea about landscaping (I can't tell the differnece between one flower or another). I don't even know enough to ask questions. Can somebody either point me to a web site or suggest a book that would be great.

Here in the South, a great book to start with is either the Southern Living Garden Book or the Southern Living Landscape Book. I think they are similar, with the garden book containing more about specific plants. NJ is certainly not the South, so I'm sure the plants to grow are quite different. But either of those books is somewhere to start. Both books contain lots of great gardening info.

Thanks for the info. I will check them out at the book store.
