i have a topcon laser i believe the model is something like a rl hc3.. while finishing up some drainage i was doing one of my guys knocked it over on to a grass surface. i was wondering if i should be worried about it being out of calibration now.. and if so how can check it.. i thought about setting up a line level but i really dont trust the accuracy of them when it comes to a long distance or really persise leveling.. thanks chris

The easiest way too check calibration is too find 2 opposing walls 100 or more feet apart.
Set the laser within 10 feet or so of one wall and turn the laser on.
Mark the spot on the nearest wall and on the furthes wall as well.
Move the laser near the other wall and line up the laser with mark closest too the laser.Go too the other wall and it should be on the original mark.
