    I heard something about this over a year ago from the inventor. He told me to keep an eye on this because the technology would change the industry. ( or so he pans )

    saw that in one of the trade mags,i'd try it if it was available but the price tag was in the $20,000+ range

    20,000 sounds ok, its street leagal so you could nix the truck. Throw a weed whip in the back and your off.

    A few years ago I thought of an idea for lasers mounted on something like sprinkler heads. The heads would pop up to the proper height and start cutting. Only problem you would need a protective border for any beds, trees, house, driveway, pool, etc.

    No more lawn guys, but no more stripes...

    The sprinkler heads might work. You would need one heck of a warning system for when it comes on though. I would be pissed if I was standing in the lawn and my legs got cut off :)
