I have a 52" wb 1988 toro with the t bar and it scalps the lawn on uneven terrain.

Not the side the side discharge is on but the other side digs into the ground not allways but enough to be a pita. Anyone else ever experience this? Is this common on this model or is something maybe loose?

    Thanks for all your advice.

    Kevin.

If it is a gear drive I don't think there is much you can do. If it is a hydro move your wheel motor and wheel, etc. out 3-4 inches. That will help a bunch. I did the above on a Toro I had and was happy with the results.
