What is the maximum amount you can charge in late fees for invoices not being paid when due in the state of Ohio? Can it be a set late charge amount for the month or a percentage of the outstanding invoice for the month? I seem to always get a few customers every year who are slow payers. Late fees are going to be used and enforced in 2006. I hope by charging a late fee, these slow payers might not be as slow.

i believe its either 11/2% or 2% not sure right off would have to look also you must give them 30 days before you can asses a late fee

Depends on how you look at it. Monthy yearly etc. But the norm is 2%. You can charge after they are late (depending on your contract), does not have to be 30 days.
