When is the best time to aerate Texas Bermuda grass? I usually scalp in early March, then I aerate and then I immediately fertilize. I have had great success, but have seen some people aerating in the winter.

I have read that you should aerate when your grass is actively growing. Bermuda is a warm season grass that is dormant in winter. March for Texas sounds about right, to me. Once it is green and growing good. That is what I have been doing with my zoysia, and it seems to be working.
