I saw this on one of my cutomers lawns, at first I thought they were spray painting but it was in different areas all over the lawn, what is this? and how do I treat it?

You need to hit that with some fungicide, and some N. Cut back on the water.

you got 2 issues, rust and powdery mildew, do what suzook suggested. Or wait 24 hrs. for the 50 posts telling you it is something different and you need to do something else in classic lawnsite fashion.

I agree with the above posts (HA,HA) the only thing I would suggest different is skip the fungicide. Save your money. A good shot of N should take both out. They are more asthetic diseases than damaging.

Is that a mushroom and a nice bed of moss on the first photo? Shade, drainage and poor air circulation might be part of it.
