What is the best way to level a lawn with small dips and a lot of holes? Any advice from you veterans would be nice.

if the holes aren't too big, i'd get a load of garden mix/compost/dirt and fill them in and then get a roller and pack it down. that's what i did in my back yard not long ago (mole issues).

What about if you have a couple acres to do?

Use a box blade on a small tractor. it will skim the high spots and fill the low ones. then roll and seed.
