lawn mower races

    i heard there are lawn mower races in Mansfield Ohio this weekend sept 2,3,4 mowers that go 90 mph??? has anyone heard about this race and has anyone have any info on it?:gmctruck:

    Don't wait until Sept 4 to go, they won't be there. The races are Sept 2 and 3. I've been to a few and top speeds are usually in the 50 to 60 MPH range. If track conditions are dry make sure you are upwind from the track. They kick up a whole lotta dust.

    We have one of the most famous stock car and modified short tracks in the nation here locally. It's called Southern National Speedway. One of our recent graduates to the big leagues was Denny Hamlin. It's a very nice 4/10 mile paved racetrack. Believe it or not the lawnmower races are more entertaining with better competition. You will not be disappointed.
