    Hello all,
I have a troy built 50" ztr mower. According to the manual it weighs 660 pounds. Here is the problem. The mower is getting long in the tooth and I am looking into a new ztr. What I am finding is that a lot of the new mowers are 800+ pounds and my current one sometimes Boggs down to the point that I cannot mow unless I want ruts in my yard. With the newer ones having bigger tires and supposedly distributing the weight over a larger area will that help. Does anyone know a way to tell the weight distribution on all these mowers? And know wether a heavier machine will chew up the yard. I am mowing 1.5 acres.

I have used a residential grade from toro before I think it was the Titan and it did great. Yes the bigger tires will spin and create ruts a lot less
