It's tough to get lawns here to look like they do up North, but we try. These are all Fescue/Bermuda blends.

how do you get a fescue/bermuda blend? use fescue/bermuda seed?

why won't the bermuda take over the fescue?

how do you get the bermuda part of the blend to look decent in the cool season?

    what's your sig line mean?

    GEO

Q1. Sod with Bermuda & overseed in mid September with Fescue using a renovater.

Q2. Because the Fescue has fall, winter & spring to thrive.

Q3. The bermuda goes dormant in the winter & all that is left is Fescue (see Q2.)

    Q4. Texas SUCKS.

I set almost all of the irrigation controllers on my properties & have that house set at 25 minutes twice a day.
