    If by CC you mean creeping charlie...whoops so sorry! Perennial--I always call it ground ivy. Guess my glasses need cleaning--in a major way. Never tried, but I suspect hand pulling would be difficult.

    Chickweed persists in the summer under cool shady conditions. Normally, it is a winter annual--dies in the heat. It should, at times, have small blossoms that have 10 white petals, (the 10 petals are actually 5 petals which have a deep divide down the center of each petal).
