I live in South Carolina. It is very hot and dry and bermuda grass grows best for me. I normally cut mine at 1.5 inches. For striping should I cut it longer?

ejenkins, i'm from ohio, up here we mostly have kentucky blue, but in a few of my yards that don't get treated they have a few different types of grass. one of which is bermuda, currently i'm cutting at 3" even at the yards with bermuda, and they are as green as can be, if you are getting enough water i would try and give it a shot at 2.5 inches. but wait for a few of these fine soouthern boys to post something here as well do to the fact that only patches on a few of my lawns have bermuda.

good luck i hope your strips come out great
