Lawn Truck Build

    It's just a basic, Toyota 1T flatbed, built by Superior out of Elkhart, IN. They didn't make a lot of 'em.

    Cool Toyota! Is that one of those old Uhaul jobbers?

    No. Superior, who built all those U-Haul vans, also, built flatbeds. They're great trucks, as they'll get ~20mpg (22REI). I've had 4200lbs on mine, once, and several loads in the 3000-3500lb range. They're perfect mulch, lumber, refuse trucks. Unfortunately, the rust-belt is taking it's toll on my frame. When the it goes, I may try and find newer model, from down south. The newer ones, like I pictured, were available with V6 and A/C.
