    There are some good you tube videos on the detachable part. Mine is NOT the best!!! Mine requires nuts and bolts and tools - the more complicated it is - the less you will use it!!

    I decided not to do the build. Work has changed a little bit and I need a dump bed on the truck. Acquired a bobcat and ready to start up another branch of work. Looking at acquiring a bucket truck to take on a little side jobs requiring a lift..sorry but no lawn truck build for now

    I assume you researched them and found Alcom is the parent company?

    Yes I noticed that. There just might be more money is selling snow mobile trailers and truck bed platforms to cart these spendy toys than making a well built significantly lighter weight Aluminum flat bed dovetail conversion for grass cutters.

    I have a collection of Steel welded fabricated Dovetail pictures. Possibly in December between snow storms I’m thinking about driving over there and kicking tires on a fishing expedition and talking with someone about it.
