I've got a Little Wonder vacum. It is too hard to push in the grass. It works good on leaves and is OK on flat lawns, but too hard to push on hills. They are good on parking lots. I hardly ever use mine.

The yards I would service with this are wide open flat lawns.

That's strictly a parking lot vac. The front casters won't allow it to be rolled in the grass. BG has a multi purpose vac with self propel and I tried it but didn't like it-not much machine for $1800, in my opinion. The LW is hands down the best(The only) machine out there but it's heavy to push. I wish they hadn't D/C the self propel model.

I had a customer ask me about these vacuums...

    Here's my answer:
I know of so many ways to do leaves, unfortunately none of them are easy.

I know its not easy. Just looking at my options. I want to try a lawn vacuum, but I don't want to spend a ton of money because for some reason I think I will be disappointed.

If you're scanning craigslist, keep looking for something like a Billygoat KD model. I picked one up for $100. They only cost 5-600 new. Go to the bg website and become familiar with the different models and most of your questions will be answered. Tony

I didn't buy my LW to clean up yards-that would have been a waste of time and money. I mainly use the 12' hose to vacuum up shrubbery clippings and vacuum out beds. I only use it if I blow a pile of leaves to the drive and then I suck them up. You have to have a specific use for the machine and know its limitations. It would be an asset to help...... clean up yards but is a waste of money if you plan to clean up the entire yard with the vac.:nono:
