I've got a bunch of old lawnboy and snapper decks laying around the shop. Given the price of scrap metal, do you think it's worth it for me to load the truck up and drive them to scrap them for the metal. I think they're cast aluminum or magnesium - anyone ever scrapped these? Are they worth it?

They're all 21" decks - most are either models that we can't use or are cracked, stripped or otherwise useless to us. I don't even think they'd have any value on EBAY - and I've sold some things for parts on there that I didn't think there be the slightest interest in.
