lawns turning brown

    i've noticed a few lawns that i cut are turning brown. other then water and sun. is the only thing it can be is nuturients in the soil. haven't seen insects..

    Explain this a little better.

    Your lawns aren't getting any water?

    Then it's the lack of water.

    I don't quite get your post.

    I have a couple that are turning brown as though they were going dormant too. We're loosing a lot of leaves from trees too. I suspect the browning is just the Poa dying off for the summer but I can't explain the leaves.

    no the lawns are getting water and sun... but there turning light brown.. i wanting to know other reasons this can be happening.. does anyone know if lesco has a product that'll turn it green quick.. i was also thinking about liquid iron..

    You could dye the lawns - Lesco sells a dye used for turf coloration. As I understand it though, it will stain concrete.

    I have having quite a few lawns that are starting to not be so green but hopefully we will get some rain. Have you done soil tests on the lawns that are turning brown?
