I have a 23/52 hp w/1500hrs. on it. I`m not sure if the clutch or switch is bad. All my safety switches are working, good fuses, wiring, etc. When I engage there is a pause before the blades turn and a hissing sound coming from either the switch or the clutch. It also wants to kill the engine and blades mostly when it`s hot. The belt flaps around and shakes pretty hard and when I dis-engage the blades seem to take awhile to stop. Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

test the clutch wire with a volt ohm meter, you should get more than 1.0-1.2 ohms. if not, bad clutch
