I'm looking for a mower for my yard. I'm in PA and have about 2 acres to mow.

I've been leaning towards a used Exmark 60. But now I'm down to these three. All are nice, and I'm looking for your opinions.

    -Exmark 60, 2011 , 900 hours, 25HP
    -Scag Wildcat 61, 2009, 400 hours, 27HP
    -Scag Turf Tiger 52, 2009, 750 hours, 27HP

My thoughts - Always been partial to Exmarks but am open-minded. The Wildcat is appealing due to the low hours. The Turf Tiger is only a 52, but it may be worth the smaller deck to get a turf tiger?

All are in real nice shape and in the $5K range. BTW - is that a good price range for what I'm looking at?

    Thanks!

If you are mowing your yard and nothing commercial you may want to look more into new new mower that is not as commercial or a smaller mower. I mow three acres in two hours on a 48 z400. Also dealers are trying to get rid of last year units.

Oh yes the x mark is a great mower. It's probably ten thousand new but just a guess. A good used commercial will last you a long time.

Scags are built tough also. I have a few of them . One of them has almost 4000 hours on it.

Thanks everybody. Is $5K a fair price range for these mowers with these specs?

Of those three, and for homeonwer use only, I'd take the Wildcat no question.

i would take the wildcat because of the low hours. will last you the rest of your life if youre just using it for your personal yard
