Lazy work or what?

    I was searching the web trying to see if there is a sealant for decomposed granite and the 2nd site I checked I found this article

    If the articles not working let me know, but anyway it seems to me the guy ripped them off. I'm from Texas and that's definitely not how I would do it on my house and for sure not on a customer. I know it's from 2007 so it's old, but I just wondered what y'all that and how y'all would have done it.

    I don't do much work like that, but common sense tells me to kill the grass or take it out, tamp the soil, add 3" or so of sand or some base, don't use metal edging unless you put it all the way in the ground and it's level with grass or use the stuff that comes up like 3/4 the way and stake it. Tamp sand or base, install flagstone, add decomposed granite or whatever for fill, then seal if you can.
