leaf cleanup on rainy days!

    The real issue with the wet leaves is you can seriously over load your truck. Also the vac hole location becomes an issue my swing away loads about 10 inches in from the passenger side in the back. Which is no problem at all when the leaves are dry I get pretty equal disbursement. But when they are really wet and heavy they all tend to land on that side against the front wall and the box can sag to that one side as much as a foot. Which means we have to be very careful how much goes in and take far more frequent trips to the dump also when it gets really heavy like 5 tons worth iv had the truck refuse to lift and you then get the pleasure of taking a ton or so of leaves out by hand to lighten the load.

    If I waited until the wind was 10mph or less, I would work about 2 days per month. I'm happy when its under 20mph!
