Leaf loader where there's municipal pickup?

The city I'm in does a pickup twice a year with leaf loaders. Do any of y'all own leaf loaders in an area that provides a municipal pickup? If so, does it pay? It's bound to hurt the service's profitability if the city does it for free, but I would think there are some people who don't want the leaves sitting on their curb for a month before the city gets to them. What do y'all think? Worth the investment for a leaf loader or no?

I am in an area where some towns offer leaf pickup and some don't. I have a leaf loader that I run when pickup isn't offered by the town. I offer the option for pickup in areas where pickup is done by the town/village. But people rarely chosse to pay extra for the what the town does. But on a side note, one town never got all their leaves picked up prior to the snow falling.
