How many of you include leaf removal (from the lawn) in your weekly service vs. charging extra for removing leaves?

I was surprised at how many people automatically expect me to start bagging and removing clippings and leaves now that fall is here. I side-discharge all summer and didn't plan on bagging now that leaves are falling.

I have offered leaf removal (beds, patios, and lawn) in addition to the weekly service, at an hourly rate of $18 per hour. With the blowers and equipment that I have, I don't anticipate my largest account taking more than an hour or so.

Is this unreasonable or am I missing something here?

How much? Do you do leaves on the same day as mowing?

yup, we usually pick up the leaves while mowing, or blow them off the property and then mow. We charge for the mowing, and the leaf clean up seperately.

Last we did leaves about a week or two after the last cut.
