blow the leaves away from the house and then set them on fire. much faster and easier.
Leaf & pine straw clean up can take multiple times the work & time over regular mowing. Of course it depends on the yard. In the early days I screwed myself by giving a too low price. Here is what I recommend, make note of the time it takes you to just mow. When the clean up season comes inform the customer you will base the rate on the extra time it takes over regular mowing. Also consider the cost of extra equipment (collection system, debris loader & etc) and dumping time and fees. On the lawns I have done for years I have a good idea of how much time it will take. On new lawns I tell them I will base the price on actual time spent. After doing it a season you will have a better idea. Remember, don't screw yourself.
