Our updated box
Black paint goes on next!!!
i cant wait.....i need a change from regular maintenance. we painted up and re vamped our leaf vac a few weeks ago, and are getting the boxes put on both trucks this week. one has a giant vac 16 hp sucker that goes on an f350 masons dump, and the other goes on a gmc flat bed with a 65 hp old municipal vac with an impellar thats about 3 feet in diameter!
Is that legal? I can see getting pulled over for obstruction of view.
Anyways I went and looked at an ex municipal leaf vac for this season. It has an 18" hose. This thing would blow the paint off my trucks. We'll see what happens.
heres a pic of the vac at my work.....my boss has since put the sucker hose and accessories on. it got new lights and wiring the other day. its got a red seal motor, but i dont know what brand of vac it is.....it doesnt say anywhere on it. the motor got rebuilt over the winter. it should be ready to suck!
Why would it not be legal? We run 9' and 10' plows that are almost as long along with 4' side wings. There is only 6" that is in your way and to us isnt a problem! We do cleanups for a couple of sherriff deputies and they LOVE the rig!!!!! As long as we dont get near the K-9 dog! LOL (WOOF)
THAT RIG IS SWEET! LOVE THE TRUCK!
MDB, bet that thing sucks and blows
Heh, well let's put it this way. One of my guys got pulled over for having sunglasses hanging from the rear view mirror. I am not making that one up.
mdb, that looks like the one I went and looked at today.
