1989 Ford F250 ex municipal truck with 80,000 original kms on it. Paid Can$4200 at auction sale. $150 to safety.
I also bought 2 more trucks, 1993 Chev one ton diesel that I put a flat rack on and will add a hoist after leaf season. The other is a 1993 Ford F350 4 door that had a electric dump on that I removed and will put on the diesel later. These are all ex city trucks and the prices were pretty good considering the minimal needed for the safety checks. I'm going to pick up another electric dump to make a dumping trailer out of soon.
I forgot one thing the unloader operator is a 1992 model she also drives the truck when the law isn't around. My wife runs the Walker and I run a backpack blower. During the week my wife runs everything by herself. This year we are trying to dump everything at the side of the driveway during the day then load everything when I get home from work at night.
wow-you got your daughter driving on the roads at 12 years old?
She drives around the farm and sometimes whenever we are together on the back roads. My oldest boy is getting his permit next week and he has been driving for years already. At least this way they are comfortable behind the wheel.
