does anyone or has anyone thought about or use an arborist chip truck for a leaf collection truck. My buddy who does tree work has a chipper truck that has to be about 12' long box and dumps I would think that a truck like that would be ideal, but usually you see 1 ton dumps, dump trailers or inserts.

that would be a nice leaf truck all you would have to do is close off the back with a door and cut a hole to for the leaf vac to go in we wanted to do that with our truck but need to for to much other stuff we just have a flat roof on it

Good idea. Take it to a Canvas Co. and have them make a tarp for the back. The one I had made is of the same material as a grass bag. They made a boot that ties to the discharge pipe on our vac. The whole tarp for our 1 ton mason dump cost about 400, so you should get away much cheaper for just the back.
