leaf vac and truck

    1975 international loadstar with paxmore leaf collection system . This truck has around 20,000 miles with diesel motor and auto trans. The vac is a four cylinder ford industrial with 18 yd compactor body . This unit will hold approximately 100 yds of leaves runs good works good . asking $3500.00 or best offer

    looks like an old garbage truck from way back, converted to a leaf vac

    the only problem w/ that truck is it can only be used during a certian time of yr. instead of yr. round and for other things

    It is not a conversion It was built by truxmore packer for the city of Toledo. We got it from them about 10yrs ago

    Does the body dump? If it doesn't, how do you get all of the leaves out of the body? I wouldn't think that you would have to rake or shovel them out.

    Another issue- it's pretty much only good for on-road, curbside pickup. Not very many options for getting in a driveway, tight spot or twisting a hose. It's too big. Great capacity and nice truck though.....
