I am going to buy a leaf vac to run off of my Massey 1215. I have not considered a 3 point model at this time.

I have looked at Trac Vac, Cyclone Rake, DR, and the big box Brinly Hardy PolyVac and Agri-fab.

I am not in love with the agri-fab, it looks like a pain to dump but the rest are in play.

I have found a Trac Vac 88 for 1295.00 but I would need to buy a boot for an additional 250.00, The Poly Vac looked really interesting on the YouTube video and runs about 1295.00 and the deal said he would make sure the boot fit my tractor well.

The CR and DR, well...they are nice machines but very pricey. I am not ruling them out but I would like opinions fron you guys.

    Thanks

    Roger

    Hello Roger1962.
I have owned a trac vac towable vacuum and currently own a cyclone rake z-10.
The CR is powerful and with a 10 inch hose, it does not clog.
Unfortunately, it connects directly to the back of the machine and it is only useful if you have enough space to turn. If you have a tight yard with a lot of shrubs, lookout.
The Trac vac is good but more likely to clog. The trailer is easier to empty than the CR.
    Both are high quality units.

I've had a "Trac Vac" (I think it's a model 80) for about 15 years. It has never let me down.

When I bought it I had a JD 400 tractor, I now have a Toro Z28L, worked very well with both.

I wish all my purchases were this good !!! :weightlifter:
