Your success in any service trade depends on the ability to handle customers in a courteous and professional manner, regardless of what they may do or say. If they step across the line, then walk away and don't look back. That is the beauty of running your own show.

I got a call last week about a penetration through a vault and I suggested the good old tar and paper, flexible rubber caulking or hydraulic cement methods of closure.

Sunday I had to install a bulkhead fitting for a pool repair and wanted to apply something to lock the nut on for S&G.

I found this and have it a try, inexpensive, flexible and pretty user friendly. It would be a quick and easy closure for wall penetrations if used with a pipe wrap for cushioning vibration.

I have nothing more to add. (i hope, sometimes I do get excited though :) )

However, if all leaks were fixed forever, we couldnt find them, and that would be bad for business. So I like and hate leaks.

    well said none the less.

Hopefully I will hear of more leaks soon, im bored due to a lack of fixable riddles, and low funds.

Folks can't figure out how they're losing water, the domestic pump cycles so often and why it's costing so much in chemicals.

Notice that most of the water is going out of the autofill between the pot and the concrete.
