Homeowner Had a leak for a long time before they dealt with it. No Water Surfacing

This area is known for the housing contractor installed and buried PRV's . Prior to this prv were at about 170 psi.

I've been in this area a bunch for failed prv's.

Seen plenty of them, nails, mice, squirrels and in Paisley Or once it was dogs. Sometimes water hammer but mainly animal caused.

hose clamps are finnee. Ford packs aren't always the easiest in a deep hole

The hose clamps were fine, rotated as they were. I prolly spent more time looking in a hole trying to figure my course of action, than actually repairing it.

Better strap clamps than worm gear clamps. Ideal made one model of worm gear clamp that had some agency approvals for the state-of-the-art-at-the-time 160 psi poly.

If it's better, and within a reasonable cost range i'm all for it. Links?

So Far I'm absolutely 50/50 with brass barbed inserts with 2 or 3 ss hose clamps or ford pack joints. I've had 100% sucesss with both and to with my knowledge none of my fittings on both haven't leaked.
