I had to go to court today. A customer I had last year decided in early September that they (comercial account) were going to cut there own property. Teh responds I got from the SIGNED service agreement was "so". Anyway, went to court and got about half of what I was suing for.

This year EVERYBODY signs a contract, or they can call someone else.

I did learn alot of valuable info, so not all was lost.

Lesson learned= make sure the contract covers everything you can think might happen.

And after you think of everthing add a few more, Becuase if this was small claims my experience is that rather than make a legal desision they just try to appease both parties. And if it your contract you have the burden to make sure everything is covered.
Good Luck and hope you don't need to go again.
