I have a used Lesco....I think they are made by Neary. Not a bad unit for starting out....gave $200.

    Uggghhhh!

    NEARY!

Don't know what HP motor, RPM of motor and wheel size is, but I had an old 8" 1/2hp 1750 RPM Neary that couldn't sharpen a toothpick.

Maybe this new design is better?

I'd save up and buy a decent grinder.

Either a Magna-Matic or a Brandlein Machine Fireball. Both of which offer extremely high sf/m.

Any one use one of these Neary's and then go to a good one? This is who you need to hear from. Someone that had this exact unit and traded up to something better.

My Neary wasn't even 1/4 as good as my Fireball 300C. Seriously, I could do better with a 65 y/o Black & Decker bench grinder.

    Ahhh, the nightmares!!!

WE have the lesco sharpner and it works pretty good. Just got to keep the plate adjusted as the wheel grinds down. It has plenty of power and makes quick work.
