Just put down some overseeding here in New Jersy and was wondering how long before you see some "action" from it ???? Days here now are 75 degree days, 50 degree nights ...............

About two weeks you'll see a start. Did you use a good high phosphorus starter fert.? This will certainly help it fill in. Keep it watered!

Trigold has winter rye in it. That's what popped up in 4 days.

I'm getting 6-7 days with 100% KBG. Cool nights, warm days, and a little rain. What more could you ask for??

Dont know about the Trigold blend , but I have seen fescues germinate in 4 days a lot of times. Even had fescue germinating in 7 days in 90 degreee hot dry weather. Only time I have seen fescue take 14 to 21 days as suggested by growers is in real cold weather, or when it is just throwed on top of the ground. In which case it might not germinate at all.
