Hey exmark. Say if you have 3yds of mulch. What would you charge? And what's included. From start to finish.

I don't know you say you're charging $6 per bag. 13.5 bags in a yard so $81 a yard installed. That is more than I can charge in this area for a yard installed. I'm around $65 a yard installed with no bed prep. I'm only paying $24.30 a yard for the mulch and you're paying $38.48 for a yard of mulch. Of course I didn't add in any sales tax or delivery fees.

Wrong. I prefer bags, actually. It's faster IMO. And we had 5 people...not 7. If you can't do 2 yards a man an hour then you're too slow. Simple as that.

I agree with this now. I didn't used to until I started timing myself on mulch jobs. I know how much I can put down with out running around like an idiot.

I got 185 for 1.25 yards of mulch last week. I'm between 80-120/yard installed. Don't know how anyone makes money at 50 a yard or 70 even.

Depends, minimal weeding? Lets assume no weeding, no hedges, no bed maintenance.

I'm probably at 280-330 depending on the ease of spread
