    Iam fairly new in the Landscaping business. Iam insured, but Ive heard you have to be licensed to operate a business. How do I go about getting licenses? I live in New Jersey.

    thru your city or county. here you go to code enforcement office.

    as far as i know of there is no license requirements in jersey.if you're legit i'd register my trade name at the county office.

    I DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT HAVING A BUSINESS LICENSE. but as the ever so wise one, LJ LAWN had mentioned, when u register for a tax i.d. number, i believe u have to register a trade name, there is a fee for this, is this considered a licensing fee?
