I just recently started my own business, but I have been in this business on and off for the last 6 years. My question is, does licensing even exist for lawn maintenance/ landscapers in this state or in any county in the state? I am just curious because if there is, I would like to know how to go about getting licensed. I have never heard of any licensing. Just curious. Thanks for any info

Just a county occupational license for green stuff around here.

Not that anyone ever checks, but you would'nt want to short change you local human shovel racks or office chair weights.

from what i was told at the courthouse they did away with "licensing" in the county I am in, but you can get a permit at the courthouse to do commercial properties..Not needed for residential. if i remember correctly, you will need a permit for each county you plan on working in.
